Welcome to St. Mary’s Ecumenical Church.

St. Mary’s Ecumenical Church is the parish church of Weaverham and Acton Bridge and part of the Methodist Northwich and Winsford Circuit. We are on Church Street, Weaverham, CW8 3NJ. Our vision is to share the light and hope of Jesus with our community.

We are sad to say that all regular Church services and activities that involve meeting in person are suspended until further notice, in line with government and Church of England advice, to help protect people from Corona Virus.

This also includes Wednesday lunches, Hope cafe, Upcycling Club, Chaos, etc. Easter events and services have also been cancelled.

However, many groups will continue to remain in contact and support each other; and St Mary’s will be open for prayer 9-11am every day and on Friday evenings 7.30 to 8.30pm.

To keep in touch with details, please ensure you are on our email circulation by emailing the church office on weaverham.church.office@gmail.com. Up to date details will be posted on the website in ‘News and Events’ and on Church Noticeboards. There will also be information, updates and ideas for families on the new ‘Chaos’ Facebook page, ‘Updates - CHAOS Weaverham’ created as a public page so we can inform, support and encourage a wider number of families in Weaverham.

If you would like prayer or pastoral support, please leave a message on the church office number 01606 851880 and we will be in touch. Messages are checked daily.

There is so much to pray for and we hope we will all be surprised by God’s goodness to us in these difficult times. He is a God who can do far more than we ask or imagine, lets pray and look for Him working in ways that show the world He is a great and loving God.
