St Mary's Church News 22nd March

⇐ News Stories

Hello everyone

This is the first issue of our St Mary's Church News which contains information about practicalities and how you can take part; and a letter from Paul. This will be sent weekly, usually on a Saturday.

During this difficult time, if you need any help or prayer, please don't hesitate to contact a church family member or the church office on Tel: 01606 851880 or Email: weaverham.church.office@gmail.com (all messages will be checked daily)

We are going to keep our church building open for prayer and receiving items for the food bank at the following times:

Everyday between 9am and 11am

Every Friday between 7.30pm and 8.30pm

In order to do this we need volunteers to be available at church during these times. Please contact Mike Sanders asap if you are able to make a regular commitment. Contact details are Tel: 851030 email: mike_rainbow@btinternet.com

Church Leaders are calling for this Sunday, 22nd March, to be a day of prayer and action. Wherever you are, please remember especially those who are sick or anxious, and all involved in our Health Service. As one action, they are calling on everyone to place a lighted candle in their window at 7.00 p.m. as a sign of solidarity and hope in the light of Christ that can never be extinguished.

From Paul:
